Got the tail light housing restored and installed, as well the center reflector.

Also installed the rear window. The Targa bar top is also installed.

For the door installation I made me a helper device to hold the doors..

I had a set of reinforcement plates for the door stays. The original studs were to short, so I drilled them out and used M6 hex bolts and nuts.

I also added power lock on this car.

I also installed the new engine tin seals.

Next thing was to assemble the 993 mirrors. I hade to make a tool to compress the springs which pulls the mirror and base together. The flag mirrors got a hollow bolt, which can be screwed in or out. These push in and twist, which is impossible just by hand.

The next thing is the wiring for these mirrors. They are different from the flag mirrors. I had to add a relay in each mirror to make them work.

At least there is enough place for the relay.

Now that all is working, including the power locks, power windows and mirrors, I can install the door panels. I made some door panel seals from thick plastic sheet.

Fitted the oil cooler. I found a 964 cooler.

Since this one is wider, I had to made some ducting, so the air will be forced through the cooler. I also added a fan.

Headlights getting installed.

The Targa looks happy. I made some all black custom headlights.

Finally on the wheels.
