Fixing some small rust areas. One spot where the pedal cluster was mounted need a patch. The car was sitting for a few years with the rear end jacked up, so any water that leaked into the car was collected at the pedal cluster area. The pedal cluster looked like it was at the bottom of the ocean for 100 years.

Another section was where the battery was at home.

I just cut out a piece put some paint in all the cleaned up areas.

New piece to be welded in.

On the outside same corner at the Bumper support was also some rust. Looks like this is an area where dirt collects and it's hard to see and clean. After the years it eats in to the metal.

I remove part of it until I got good metal to weld in some pieces I made.

The inside is also cleaned up and I put some primer on it.

Moving to the door jamb area.

Cutting out the bad.

I made some new pieces.

Now I need to weld it all in.

The driver side of this section was actually OK.
So I took on the fenders, which had a big dent at the top behind the headlight bucket, as if something dropped on the car.

I got it out rough for now. Will do the finish later.
The left side fender had also some body filler, which I removed.

Assembled it all to make sure all the gaps are OK. I had to push out the fender a bit, where I removed the body filler, which was used to buildup so it would match the door.

Next, I removed the doors, fenders and hood to strip the 3 layers of paint of.

This is ugly stuff, LOL.

Here after getting the last layer of with the scottch brite wheel.

After I stripped and cleaned all the body parts, I assembled it and adjusted all gaps.
